What can the meaning and purpose of LIFE be ????

As I sit in my apartment and look out at the beauty of the mountain, I wonder why we were all put here, if only to die in the end. Most of us have to go through so many struggles and heartache and for what purpose, is this just a game to God, does he sit up there having a good chuckle at us all?? Is there some sort of life after death or is this it?? Too many questions with no answers. People will say read your Bible or whatever Holy Book you subscribe to, and you will find the answers, that is much easier said than done, to believe what you cannot see or touch, beyond most humans comprehension or at least mine.

I see the beauty of the world, but again so few get to appreciate it, yes it is easy to see what is closeby, nature and beauty especially in Cape Town it is everywhere and cheap and in abundance, but then so is squalor and pain, some of us like to not notice this. There are many things I still want to see and experience in this World, but these things cost money and more than that time, which seems to fly past as you get older, there is always something more important to do, work to survive, then rest to be prepared for the next week, that before you know it more than half your life has past and in reality what have you really seen or experienced?? Unfortunately for most of us very little.

I also realise this is no-one elses fault but my own and if I do not do something about it soon, I may never see or achieve a lot of my dreams. Cause without one realising time waits for no man.

So where and how does one start to change to achieve these changes and set some goals, not for work this time but for one's self. This will be what I ponder on over the next while and try to find a happy medium to achieve not only my works goals but by personal dreams and wishes and desires........
